Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades → Todra Gorge → Merzouga → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Day by day
- Day 1
Marrakech to the Dades Valley
Pickup at your hotel or riad. Over the High Atlas with stops for views and villages, a visit of the Aït Ben Haddou kasbah, and a night in a family guesthouse in the Dades Valley.
- Day 2
Todra Gorge to the Merzouga dunes
An easy walk and a paddle in the Todra Gorge, then the dunes: camel ride at sunset, dinner, music by the fire and a night in a family tent.
- Day 3
Sahara sunrise to Ouarzazate
Sunrise on the dunes, sandboarding and breakfast at camp, then a calm drive west through the oases with a night in a kasbah hotel near Ouarzazate.
- Day 4
Back to Marrakech
A shorter drive over the mountains, with a lunch stop, and drop-off at your hotel, riad or the airport in Marrakech.
Every day can be adjusted to your children's ages and rhythm.

Is 4 days enough for the Sahara with kids?
Yes. Splitting the return over two days keeps every driving day reasonable. With toddlers, our 6-day version is even calmer.
Do you pick us up at our hotel?
Yes, the trip is door to door: pickup and drop-off at your hotel, riad or Marrakech airport.
